I had quite the busy weekend and will be sharing more of what I was into later this week. (If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram then you probably already know).

This weekend I had the immense pleasure and delight of documenting the wedding of Ingi and Dave’s intimate wedding at Normandy Farms. They were two of the most relaxed people I have ever come across on a wedding day and absolute joy to work with.

At every wedding I find myself at some point standing on top of something to get a shot.

Wedding Tip : Professional Ring Cleaning

Make sure your bling looks it’s best by taking your engagement ring in to get professional cleaned. The jeweler from whom you purchased the ring most often times will provide this service free of charge, and if you have white gold considered getting it re-dipped which may also be free or done for a nominal fee.

Wedding of Kerry and Chris | Congress Hall | Cape May, NJ

I can not think of a better way to end by blogging for 2012 than with the wedding of Kerry and Chris. All of Kerry’s hard work and planning paid off with their gorgeous DIY classically elegant wedding. And I kept my fingers crossed through much of 2012 that their serious of unfortunate accidents (broken bones, sprained tendons, etc) would not hinder their big day. Looks like it worked

Wedding of Megan and Michael | Manayunk Brewing Company | Philadelphia, PA

I absolutely loved this wedding. I knew Michael had a penchant for antiquing but I didn’t know how much he and Megan would incorporate it into their wedding. Their DIY eco-friendly wedding (no florals and all upcycled material) was a perfect balance of vintage, thrift meets urban modern. And I was enamored with Michael’s love of comic book heroes and swooned the whole night as the smell of yummy rich brownies filled the air. And I loved how their wedding was also based in the neighborhood they love.

Congrats once again Megan and Michael. It was fun and a delight to be a part of your big day and to work with your fabulous family and friends. Much love and blessings in the years ahead!
