Engagement Session of Rachael and Brian | Longs Park | Lancaster PA

The holidays are almost upon us and I am furiously working to get out my last sessions from 2012.

I am happy to share this session with Rachael and Brian that took place in Lancaster at Longs park while they were visiting family from Arizona. I am so happy that they came in enough time to enjoy the pretty fall foilage. I found Brian to be hilarious and Rachael to be so sweet that I can’t wait till their wedding next year.

Engagement Session Gina and Alonzo | Rittenhouse Square | Philadelphia, PA

I enjoyed my afternoon with Gina and Alonzo strolling around Rittenhouse. Chatting about restaurants, Philadelphia, and visiting spots they love to frequent together. It was also the first time a client turned the tables on me, Alonzo was taking short video clips of me as I worked to document their experience. Can’t wait till their spring wedding at PAFA.

Special thanks to Becca from Green Aisle Grocery for allowing us to sample her tasty preserves (being the foodie I am I strongly recommend the apple perserves) and to La Colombe Coffee House.

This is the book Alonzo used in proposing to Gina. He carved out a place in the book under the heart.

How beautiful are Lisa and Alex?! I love how the couples who protest the most that they are “unphotogenic” are the ones the camera just eats up. I can’t wait for the June Magic Gardens wedding of these two music teachers.

Engagement Session Sara and Bill | Peace Valley Park | Doylestown, PA

What happens when a lawyer and a lobbyist plays Quizzo? No this is not the start of a bad joke but really the beginning of the story of Sara and Bill. I love hearing how couples meet because it reminds me how quirky the universe really is and that love will fall right in your lap and smack you in the face when you least expect it.

Being around Sara and Bill gave me that warm mushy feel inside. That feeling you get when you see how much in love two people are, when two people delight in the other, when that person literally radiates and glows because of the other.

Thanks Sara and Bill for spending a lovely time with me in the park and for introducing me to the loveliness of Lake Galena. Looking forward to September

Engagement Session Megan & Michael | Old City Philadelphia, PA

I hear from almost every one of my couples how they feel awkward in front of the camera and that they are so unphotogenic. Then comes the day of the session and BAM the camera the just LURVES them! I mean EATS THEM UP! And I am just literally squealing in delight at how gorge they look.

Megan and Michael were no different. And the whole time we were wondering around Old City snapping photos I was thinking how utterly and delightfully cute they were. So in love with one another that I couldn’t help but smile.

And I have to say they were real troopers since summer decided to start with a big bang bringing some of the muggiest hottest weather we have had this year.

Thanks Megan and Michael for trusting me to document the two of you and I am SOOOOO looking forward to your October wedding!

Michael is into antiquing and flea markets and he requested a photo in front of this storefront. Can’t wait to see if any of the flea market finds find their way into the wedding in October.
