“She smiled and said with an ecstatic air: “It shines like a little diamond”,
“This moment. It is round, it hangs in empty space like a little diamond; I am eternal.”
― Jean-Paul Sartre, The Age of Reason
What women doesn’t want to spend an afternoon looking at diamonds and beautiful jewelry?!
I was so happy to hear that Lauren Priori of Priori Jewelry wanted to be a part of my artisan project. Lauren who is a trained gemologist has worked for Tiffany and Co. , an auction house here on the East Coast, and as a designer jewelry buyer for a small chain of jewelry stores before branching out on her own. Lauren takes custom commissions for engagement and wedding rings and can design a piece that suits you exactly. She can also source antique rings and pieces for those that want a piece with a vintage flare. Lauren’s taste is impeccable, she has a great eye for style and she is just so sweet and personable. She definitely provides a custom boutique experience that most jewelers can not.
We spent a Saturday afternoon in her beautiful Rittenhouse space going through her many engagement rings and antique pieces.
