I challenged myself to do something this year that scared the beejessus out of me, namely a stylized shot. Thinking about it literally put knots in my stomach. Well the big day was this past weekend and though it was an exhausting 2 days prepping for it, the shoot came out better than I could have ever imagined.
The idea for the shoot was an outdoor formal luncheon hosted by a bride for all her bridesmaids. The bride was someone who liked vintage elements that were a little more refined, soft, with a hint of romance. She also had a love of the outdoors but it was important to her to a keep a somewhat formal feel despite the setting. She has a love of sweets and wanted the desserts to be light and reflective of the natural setting. In other words I basically planned the dream luncheon I would have had for my own bridesmaids but never did
And this shoot would not have been possible without the generous support, love, and hard work of Ashley, Isabel, Jessica, Erin, and Vanessa. Thanks to all of you for for saying yes to my crazy idea and helping me to make it happen. Love y’all!!!!
