Living in Gratitude : Thank You Notes

Even though I am not a viewer of Jimmy Fallon’s show (though I think he is funny as all get out and cute as a button) I loved the idea when I heard it of his doing a segment every Friday called Thank You notes. It struck a chord with me. I am trying to live a life that is focused on gratitude. I focus too much on the things in my day that ticked me off or got my dander up and never on those little moments that made me smile or bought joy to my day. I remember the story that was about a man that had to find one thing each day to be thankful for in order to cheat death. Sounds so simple yet so hard.

Thank you notes for the week of December 25th

Thank you Baby Jesus for being my salvation and my light and for having such an awesome birthday.

Thank you Apple for once again getting me hooked on your kool aid with your awesome invention of Apple TV. I am sooooooo addicted to streaming video and music now from my iPhone and iPad on my TV.

Thank you Viggo Mortenson for being one of the sexiest men over 50 alive and for being totally melt my heart awesome in Eastern Promises and A History of Violence.

Thank you Grandma for teaching me your secret to melt in your mouth make you want to shove your whole face in it Mac and Cheese. Wish you were here to enjoy it too.

Thank you to my photog friend Isabel who FaceTimes with me in the early morning before I am camera ready. Love our chats.

Thanks everyone for taking vacation this week and making the roads a pleasure to drive.

Thanks Mini Cooper for making one of the best cars EVAH and to your kick a** website. You will soon be mine once again. Audi who????
