I met Khadijah and her beautiful family this past Sunday for a mini session. Khadijah has a growing cake business Babycakes Couture and she does the most wonderful things with cupcakes. So it was a real pleasure to meet a cake artist. Hopefully fingers crossed I will get to photograph one of her creations and more importantly sample it
During the shoot I was especially tickled by Khadijah’s children. Since I was an only child I never knew the complexity of a sibling relationship. One moment it’s “Eeeewwww don’t touch me” and the next moment it’s a loving, “we are best buds” embrace. And I swear if I could bottle the personality of her son and sell it I would be millionaire.

Ashley Goodwin - These are the BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So bright! The colors are amazing! I always have a hard time with darker skin tones, especially when there is a range of depths, and you have these images spot on! The photo at the top looks like an Ad & that little boy’s expressions at the bottom are priceless!

Alia - I am loving these pictures. They capture love at it’s finest in these pictures. Too often we see professional pictures that are so staged that it takes away from the true beauty of the picture. That is def not the case here.
