I was thrilled and a little nervous when I saw the email in my box from Joe saying that him and Angela wanted to do a mini-session. Thrilled because Angela is my best friend and I love her to death, nervous because I so wanted to do a great job for them.
Angela and I were single ladies together and I was the one that she met Joe through when we she started hanging out with me and one of my coworkers. Who knew that the guy who couldn’t remember her name would wind up being the love her life. I was more than thrilled when I got to stand up as her bridesmaid four years ago and then when she returned the favor two years ago for me. It seems so weird that we are now referred to as the old married “Biddies” in our circle of friends. I love the way that Joe can make her smile and laugh and light up like a Christmas tree.
We strolled around Washington Square Sunday morning, snapping some photos, laughing, catching up, having a good time as usual. Just being friends.
