This past fall after I met with Laura and Jason, I came home anxious and excited, nervously whining to my husband “Oh my gosh I hope they book me”. They were one of those couples that you instantly fall in love with upon meeting. Maybe its Laura’s spunk (yes I used spunk) that comes out when bantering with Jason, or Jason’s stories of his lively southern family that reminds me so much of my own, or the way they truly seem to revel and draw joy from each other’s company. But I knew from that first meeting that I wanted to document these two special people.
My husband graciously drove me down to DC a couple of weekends ago so I could shoot their e-session, where we started out in Dupont Circle at Kramer Books, the site of Laura and Jason’s first date. (AAAHHHHHH! Sooo Sweet!) We then made our way around Dupont Circle and then on to the Monument and the cherry blossoms. Right before dashing off to the Monument Laura and Jason treated Roe and I to some delicious mouth watering moist cakey goodness. (They so know the way to my heart.) Sadly to say my little morsel barely made it out the store.
Enjoy the first half of Laura and Jason’s e-session and stay tuned for part II![]()
PS Can you play where’s Roe? Here’s a hint – he is smack dab in the first photo.
